With the 2017 legislative session essentially in the rearview mirror and 2018 firmly in our sights, I’ve been busy looking for opportunities and events that will allow me to get even further out into the community, educate folks about Marsy’s Law and find volunteers.

Which brings me to exciting news! We were recently able to add a new member to the team! Everyone, meet Tate. Tate, everyone! Tate grew up in Ohio but went to school at our very own Morehead State. He moved back to the bluegrass from sunny, warm California to pass Marsy’s Law here in Kentucky. Must’ve been the basketball, bourbon, and amazing people.

But we still need more help around the state!  Whether it be attending an event in your county, telling a couple friends about Marsy’s Law, making calls on our behalf, or taking window placards to a central point for distribution….we NEED you!

If you have a few hours a month to spare, please let me know! I KNOW that the crime victims and survivors I work with every day would be incredibly grateful for any time you’d be able to offer.
