Inspired by Supporters During National Crime Victims’ Rights Week
We’re inspired by the many wonderful moments experienced during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW), but there is no time to pause! In the coming weeks, we will connect with new supporters and reunite with our earliest and strongest supporters who showed up as a strong force last week to honor crime victims and their families.
Our many conversations throughout Oklahoma solidified the need for victims’ rights reform in Oklahoma. Just a few of our stops included a visit to the Stephens County District Attorney’s office to participate in an NCVRW ceremony. We also dropped by the Women’s Haven in Duncan, Project Safe in Shawnee and attended a breakfast at the Oklahoma Conference of Churches. We were quite impressed with runners who braved cold temperatures to raise awareness for sexual assault victims at the YWCA OKC’s Fearless K event. And, we capped off an incredible week by attending the Family Fun & Safety Festival in Guthrie on Sunday.
We thought you might enjoy a few photos from last week.
Thanks for your continued support on State Question 794! We hope to see you again soon. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions or to learn how to get involved.
