Marsy’s Law for Montana Receives New Endorsements

Over the last couple of weeks, Marsy’s Law for Montana has been focused on securing support from Montana lawmakers and we’ve had great results. We’ve received new endorsements from nine state legislators over the past few days, including:

Rep. Dale Mortenson (R-Billings)

Sen. Rick Ripley (R-Wolf Creek)

Rep. Zac Perry (D-Missoula)

Sen. John Brenden (R-Scobey)

Sen. Duane Ankney (R-Colstrip)

Rep. Jessica Karjala (D-Billings)

Rep. Bruce Meyers (R-Box Elder)

Rep. Geraldine Custer (D-Forsyth)

Rep. Mary Ann Dunwell (D-Helena)

Thank you to these and all the other Montana legislators from the state who have thrown their weight behind Marsy’s Law for Montana.

The public comment period on our initiative petition ends today at noon. This is one of the last major hurdles we have to clear before we can begin gathering signatures to qualify our issue for the November 2016 ballot. We’re getting really close to to the actual signature phase—if you’re interested in being a signature gatherer, either as a volunteer or in a paid position, please contact Marsy’s Law for Montana State Director Chuck Denowh at [email protected].
