Stacy Evensen Joins Marsy’s Law for Hawaii as State Director
Marsy’s Law for Hawaii is happy to announce Stacy Evensen has joined our team as State Director. With her wealth of experience in executive management, legislative advocacy, community outreach and education, Stacy will be leading the effort to get victims’ rights written into our state constitution.
Prior to joining Marsy’s Law for Hawaii, Stacy was the Director of Education and Vocational Services at Hale Kipa, Inc. where she developed educational programs for at-risk youth. She also served as a community health lead at Healthways Hawaii and held various executive positions at Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) for more than 25 years, including extensive work in government affairs.
Stacy is making it a priority that all victims of crime have the equal opportunity
to see justice in their cases. She is meeting with victims and their advocates, leg-
islators and the law enforcement community, support groups and others to hear their concerns and address their issues. We are excited to have her on board as we ramp up our efforts with the start of the new year.
