ACTOR KELSEY GRAMMER URGES NORTH DAKOTANS TO VOTE YES ON MEASURE 3
BISMARCK, N.D. – Actor Kelsey Grammer’s father was shot and killed, and his sister was raped and killed. Through both tragic instances, Grammer has experienced the benefits and challenges of the criminal justice system. It is with this firsthand experience that he urges North Dakotans to vote Yes on Measure 3 this November 8.
“When my father’s killer was released and allowed to live out his days in freedom we were never told,” said Grammer. “I found out through the National Inquirer. It seemed like a cruel joke. In my sister’s case, I have been allowed a voice in the parole hearings of her killers and they remain in jail to this day.”
Grammer is one of the many faces on a national level supporting equal rights for crime victims. Locally in North Dakota, the Sheriffs & Deputies Association and former federal prosecutor Lynn Crooks support this change and ask North Dakotans to vote Yes on Measure 3.
