Native American Leader Plummer-Alvernaz Joins Marsy’s Law For Montana Steering Committee

Toni Plummer-Alvernaz, the executive director of Montana Native Women’s Coalition, a group combating domestic and sexual violence in Indian Country, has joined the Marsy’s Law for Montana statewide steering committee.

The Montana Native Women’s Coalition is a resource for Native American women throughout the state, providing training and victim coordinators to help keep women safe.  Plummer-Alvernaz, who grew up on and near the Fort Peck Indian Reservation, has served as the group’s executive director since 2011.
