Coordinating Successful Implementation of Marsy’s Law in Oklahoma
When Marsy’s Law – or State Question 794 – passed in November 2018, Oklahoma’s voters created a revised and strengthened version of the Crime Victims’ Bill of Rights to be added to the Oklahoma Constitution. In May of this year, the Oklahoma Legislature passed HB 1102, a law that aligns state statute with the new Constitutional protections approved by Oklahoma voters. That bill goes into effect on Nov. 1, 2019.

Crime Victims Share Stories for National Crime Victims' Rights Week
In preparation for National Crime Victims Rights Week (NCVRW), April 8 – 14, we spent a few days filming in Tulsa to capture victims’ stories for a video that will launch next week in observance and appreciation for our supporters statewide. Mississippi Mayors Stand Up for Victims' Rights by Endorsing Marsy's Law
JUNE 5, 2019, JACKSON, MISS.: Four Mississippi Mayors have officially endorsed the passage of Marsy’s Law in Mississippi, a law that seeks to amend the state constitution to give crime victims an equal level of constitutional protections, no less vigorous, than those afforded to the accused and convicted.
Heading to the Northern Wisconsin State Fair
Today through July 14, Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin will be at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair in Chippewa Falls, talking to voters about our amendment to Wisconsin’s constitution to ensure equal rights for Wisconsin’s crime victims.
