Reach Counseling Victim Advocate Ciara Hill: “Marsy’s Law would bring justice to the students that I work with”The highlighted video features Ciara Hill, UW-Oshkosh Campus Advocate at Reach Counseling. “Marsy’s Law would bring justice to the students that I work with,” Hill explains in the video. “They never expected something like this to happen to them. A lot of them are unfamiliar with the legal process, they’re unfamiliar with their rights—they don’t know what they are.” Based in the Fox Valley, Reach Counseling provides trauma-informed mental health care to victims of emotional, sexual and physical abuse. According to the organization’s website, Reach works, “to heal lives of abuse victims and hold perpetrators accountable through innovative programs in education and outreach, victim advocacy, outpatient therapy, counseling and sex offender treatment.” Watch the full video:
